The Students Islamic Circle (SIC) successfully launched its first Tarbiyah program on Friday October 25, 2024 at Masjid Shirah Al Shuhayd in Salmiya, immediately following Salatul Jummah. Organized by IMA YouthWing’s Students Circle, the event marked a significant step in providing Islamic guidance and personal development for students, drawing active participation and engagement from youth members.

The program opened with a spiritual recitation from Surah Ad Duha by Brother Jasim, a SIC member, creating an atmosphere of reverence and inspiration. Following this, SIC Incharge Brother Zofiyan introduced the Student Islamic Circle, emphasizing its mission to support Islamic learning and personal growth for youth in Kuwait.

The keynote address was delivered by Brother Mohammed Fayyaz, who offered a comprehensive exploration of the five pillars of Islam, shedding light on the critical importance of Faith, Prayer, Charity, Fasting, and Pilgrimage as the cornerstones of a Muslim’s life. This was followed by a quiz competition, designed to test participants’ knowledge on the pillars of Islam, with an impressive turnout of 38 students eager to engage.

In his closing remarks, YouthWing President Brother Dawood Hasan Absami outlined SIC’s vision for the future, announcing upcoming programs focused on Islamic education, leadership, and personal development. He also extended an invitation for students to join SIC, underscoring the unique opportunities it offers for growth and community involvement.

The event was further supported by the attendance of key YouthWing leaders, including Brother Khalid Abdur Rahman, Brother Asif Ishaq, and Brother Abdul Jabbar, demonstrating solid leadership commitment to SIC’s objectives.

With active participation and shared goals, the inaugural SIC Tarbiyah program successfully laid the groundwork for future initiatives aimed at empowering youth in both faith and personal development.
